My name is Katie; not Katelyn, not Katherine… it’s just Katie. I used to strive for perfection, to be “little miss perfect,” but now I’m choosing to just be me. Just Katie. Life can’t always be wrapped in a perfect pink bow or filtered for the perfect Instagram post, but it is a beautiful gift. The trials, the tears, and the joys make it a daily treasure to live and love others.
BACKGROUND
Originally from Phoenix, I currently reside in Dallas, Texas pursuing a career in Public Relations at The Richards Group. Previously, I graduated with a Bachelors in Rhetoric & Leadership Communication and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Strauss Institute, then spent two years working on the Warner Bros. Emmy winning television show, EXTRA, in Los Angeles, California. With a heart for service, I dedicate my time to serving The Salvation Army as a volunteer and Founder of the National Red Kettle Club, the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity as the Vice President of Communcations Advisor, and Distinguished Young Women as a mentor to state winners and judge for the program.
